Closed End Blind Rivets (Sealed Pop Rivets)

ProRivet supplies premium industrial-grade Closed End Blind Rivets (also known as sealed pop rivets or liquid-tight rivets) engineered specifically for applications requiring a 100% leak-proof, vapor-tight seal.

Unlike standard open-end rivets, closed-end rivets feature a unique cup-shaped, continuous outer body that completely encapsulates the mandrel head. When set, the rivet head stays retained inside the body, preventing air, water, and gas ingress while protecting against mandrel head vibration fallout.

Key Value & Performance Features

  • 100% Water-Tight & Gas-Tight Seal: Cup-end design blocks fluid and pressure bypass through the core.

  • Complete Mandrel Retention: Retains the broken mandrel head inside the rivet body, eliminating rattling and preventing electrical short-circuit hazards.

  • High Shear & Tensile Strength: Provides enhanced shear performance and high clamping pressure compared to open-end alternatives.

  • Material Combinations: Available in All-Aluminum, Aluminum/Steel, All-Steel, and 304/316 Stainless Steel.

  • Head Profiles: Offered in Dome Head for standard surface bearing and 120° Countersunk Head for smooth, flush assembly surfaces.

  • US Warehouse Availability: Ships directly from our Wheeling, Illinois fulfillment hub (60090) to meet urgent production deadlines.
